Amarbayasgalant Monastery, also known as the “Monastery of Tranquil Felicity” is considered to be the second most important monastery in Outer Mongolia. It is traditionally the retreat place of the Bogd Khaans or Jetsun Dhampas, the heads of Tibetan Buddhism within Mongolia.
