Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden is an emanation of Je Tsongkhapa whose principal function is to prevent his doctrine of the Gaden Oral Lineage from degenerating by pacifying obstacles, gathering necessary conditions and bestowing powerful blessings upon those who practise it.
Because the beings of this present time have a strong karmic link with Dorje Shugden it is said that now is the time to rely upon him.
By relying sincerely on Dorje Shugden obstacles to our spiritual practice will be pacified and we will receive powerful blessings to engage in the practices of Kadam Lamrim, and especially the oral instructions of Mahamudra.
In 2016, the NKT-IKBU will be organising a 5 day 5 night Dorje Shugden Empowerment program in Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, Cumbria, United Kingdom. Venerable Kelsang Dekyong, the Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher of MKMC will be giving this blessed empowerment to all who attends the event.
