Buddha images with accurate iconography are very important as they are a physical manifestation of the holy energy of the Buddha. Through Buddha statues, we are able to make a connection with the Three Jewels. Therefore, Buddha images are considered a blessing because they can plant the seeds of Dharma in the minds of those who set eyes on them, circumambulate around them or have physical contact with them.

Buddha images that are energised with the sincere, pure and consistent Dharma practice of great Dharma masters are extremely precious. In addition to their holy form, these images offer practitioners the blessings of the masters that they belonged to, and the Dharma they practised.

For instance, this image of Dorje Shugden is a rare example of such a holy statue. It belonged to the previous Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang and is currently housed in the private prayer hall of Trijang Ladrang in Shar Gaden Monastery.

Dorje Shugden was the Dharma Protector that Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche held close to his heart throughout his life. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche had great faith in Dorje Shugden, as illustrated when he arranged for a trusted attendant to seek advice from an oracle of Dorje Shugden pertaining to the escape of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama from Tibet to India.

Thank you DorjeShugden.org for sharing this wrathful form of Dorje Shugden that belongs to the previous His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. We are very fortunate to be able to get the blessing of both the enlightened Dharmapala, Dorje Shugden and the previous Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang. I hope through their blessing, the seeds of Dharma will eventually blossom and the bond with the 3 Jewels strengthened.

Thank you dorjeshugden.org for explaining the importance of having a Buddha statue in our practice. Having a Buddha statue with the correct iconography on our altar certainly helps us to be able to focus better as each part of the Buddha represents a holy aspect of his Buddhahood. As we are all interdependent upon each other, our energies will imbued and mix with our surrounding affecting it to a lesser or greater effect. So it should be no surprise that Buddha statues that had belonged to a highly attained Master will be infused with the energies of his enlightened presence, what more his powerful prayers of enlightened motivation. It would be such blessings to even be in the presence of the Master’s statue. H.H. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche is such an attained Master that any statue of his is holy, needless to say his personal statue of Dorje Shugden of whom he had offered praised and requests of compassion for others. For me, even with Dorje Shugden’s wrathful looks, tongue curl, eyes bulging, the feeling of great compassion for us is very evident.

Thank you for sharing this sacred Dorje Shugden statue belonged to the previous Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang. Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang was an erudite guru and considered as an emanation of Vajra Yogini by the Tibetans.

Now, Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang has returned in human perfect form, HH Yongdzin Trijang Dorje Chang which recognised by HH the 14th Dalai Lama in 1985. This shows us that rely on Dorje Shugden to allow and support us in dharma work and will not bring us down to the Three Lower Realms.
More great masters rely and practice Dorje Shugden:

Trijang Rinpoche received his first teachings from Pabongka Rinpoche when he was a little boy. Their strong connection was to last a lifetime and he became Pabongka Rinpoche’s closest disciple, who is upholding the Dorje Shugden practise.

It is very blessed that we can see Trijang Rinpoche’s personal Dorje Shugden image. Buddha images are considered a blessing just by looking at it, planting the seeds of Dharma in ones’ minds.
