Recognised reincarnations of great Lamas are beings who return lifetime after lifetime to turn the wheel of Dharma to benefit sentient beings with the blessings of the Three Jewels. They are often given the title ‘Rinpoche’, which means “precious one” because they are perfect vessels to disseminate the complete Dharma.
The presence of such beings amongst us is most auspicious and any meeting of these enlightened beings is certainly an occasion to rejoice. In 2014, a meeting of two such great minds occurred between His Holiness the 11th Panchen Lama and the young reincarnation of H.E. Denma Gonsa Rinpoche. The young Denma Gonsa Rinpoche traveled to meet the Panchen Lama for the purpose of reaffirming his incarnation status as the 20th Denma Gonsa Rinpoche.
Much emphasis is put into the search, identification, enthronement and development of tulkus because of their potential to benefit countless people through the Dharma. Coming from a great lineage, the enthronement of the current Denma Gonsa Rinpoche is of the utmost importance.
Recognised by H.H. Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche and the oracle of Shar Gaden Monastery who took trance of Duldzin, the peaceful form of Dorje Shugden, the 20th Denma Gonsa Rinpoche was eventually confirmed with the issuance of a formal recognition document by the 11th Panchen Lama.
Traditionally, a newly enthroned tulku is presented to the highest Lama in that particular lineage, which for the Gelugpas is the Dalai Lama or Panchen Lama, for blessings and affirmation of the reincarnation status of that particular tulku.
As Denma Gonsa Rinpoche was enthroned in Chatreng, it was most natural to present the young Rinpoche before the Panchen Lama, who is of the highest authority in the region of Tibet-China.
Besides reaffirming the young tulku, such a meeting has deep spiritual significance because it can facilitate a swifter and smoother opening of imprints. This leads to the reconnection of the recognised tulku with his or her aspirations made in relation to their works in previous lives.
A young tulku will also receive valuable advice, teachings, initiations and practices that will clear obstacles for their long life and growth of Dharma work from the senior Lama.
Please support us so that we can continue to bring you more Dharma:
Hello dear Rinpoche. I found this page and would welcome a reconnection via email. You took two automobile tours with my wife Carol and me Indiana and Michigan in 1990 and 1991. You also had supper at our house once. I hope this finds you in good health! Carol, unfortunately, is in very poor health due to advanced Alzheimer's disease. Please keep her in your thoughts.
Would you do a Puja for Putin to overcome his desire, hate and ignorance?
Best regards

Is greed okay if it helps develop more positivity (in small picture)? Distractions dissolve from themselves, getting involved only expands them, but aren't there hopes to be fulfilled in the long run by innvolment?
7 offering bowls (yes) but how many butter lamps for very small altar ? I am thinking of only one (which I can afford and the space is limited. Is one butter lamp acceptable ?
There are no upcoming events at this time.

Posted on January 19, 2018 #1 AuthorI was led to search and read Denma Gonsa Rinpoche after His name was being introduced by H.E. the 25th Tsem Tulku Rinpoche (Twitter). Denma Gonsa Rinpoche has shown us that we should have unwavering faith to both one’s Lama and the teachings/ transmission/ lineage that we have received and sworn to practice. In this case, we should have faith in the protector Dorje Shugden. Homage to Denma Gonsa Rinpoche (With folded hands).
